OPEN CALL: MARKET REGISTRATIONS

At the Afro-Pfingsten 2023, the big market traditionally takes place during three days in the most beautiful alleys of Winterthur's old town. This year there will be various innovations. The goal is to create more space for intercultural encounters. For this reason, there will be a concert stage on the market area, as there was before Corona, where we will offer a platform to aspiring newcomers. In addition, so-called Gastro-Zonen are being planned so visitors can enjoy their food and drink comfortably seated. The FairMarket for non-profit organisations will no longer exist in the classical way as in the past. These organisations will now be spread out over the entire market area at special rates. In this way, we hope to create a more diverse mix and to offer NGOs a better platform for presenting their projects. Another innovation is a mandatory reusable tableware - the next step towards more sustainability for the Afro-Pfingsten Festival!
