AFRO-PFINGSTEN FESTIVAL: A NEW ERA BEGINS!

May we present? The new public appearance including a new logo and website of Afro-Pfingsten. Slowly but surely, it is time for us to take a step towards the future with a contemporary corporate identity.

For over 30 years, the old logo with the three coloured stripes has accompanied us. Now, slowly but surely, it is time for Afro-Pfingsten to step into a new direction. We would like to take a step towards the future with a contemporary corporate identity. As organisers of a festival, we are aware of the responsibility we bear. It is important to us that the public appearance of the Afro-Pfingsten does not serve stereotypical representations of Afro-cultures. We stand for an inclusive festival that turns the entire city of Winterthur into an intercultural melting pot during Whitsun, celebrating the diversity of Afro cultures. This is our contribution to a pluralistic society. Be part of it and celebrate the cultural diversity with us at the Afro-Pfingsten Festival 2023!

By the way, the graphics of the new corporate design were developed in cooperation with Janto Film. For many years we have been connected by a beautiful partnership. We have now been able to deepen this collaboration, as Janto Film has a new graphics team with Michelle Rüegg in the lead since last summer. Also a part of our rebranding is Waldbach Medien responsible for the programming of our amazing website. We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the beautiful collaboration!
