DANCE: The fascination of motion
Learn traditional and contemporary dance styles from Africa, the Orient and South America. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, our experienced instructors make sure you'll have a great experience.
PERCUSSION: Feel and experience rhythm
Our professional drummers teach beginners the foundations of rhythm and help advanced students perfectionate their playing. Even the youngest will enjoy learning to feel the rhythm in our designated courses for kids.
SINGING: The mirror of the soul
Discover new dimensions in your voice! Whether through gospel, Afro-choir, intriguing polyphonic singing, worldmusic songs or African yodelling, you can learn to let your soul express itself the African way.
MISCELLANEOUS: Cultural treasures from Africa
There are many more ways to experience a piece of Africa: Learn to cook the best African recipes, Afro-brass, hair braiding, sewing dresses or make your own African jewelry: African culture holds many treasures that want to be explored.
Finissage
The "finissage" forms the spectacular closing event of the Afro-Pfingsten workshops!
On Whitsunday at 6.30pm, the instructors and workshop participants invite you to an exciting and colorful performance at the Alte Kaserne. A colorful mix of music, dance and singing will be presented.
All fans of Afro-Pfingsten, friends, collegues, parents and families of the participants are welcome.
Admission is free.
