FairFair is a market focusing on fairness. It raises awareness for global issues, explains their causes and calls for action. Various organisations demonstrate the impact of solidarity and fair trade:

Global issues can not be emphasised enough: violation of human rights, environmental destruction, migration, unfair distribution of commodities and access to resources are topics that concern everyone; be it for solidarity, responsibility or personal interest.
In a globalized world the disparity between wealth and poverty is increasing; the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer. Increasing poverty leads the impacted people into a position within the society with no bright future. As a consequence, conflicts emerge and are driven far beyond country’s frontiers due to the globalization process.
